G reetings from Avoca, New York, where we are ready for the end of our First Wednesday Auction for March which will begin ending at 7:01 PM Eastern Time tonight.

Today's Photo Montage shows some of the many great tools included in our Wednesday, March 4th Auction.

If you are not currently registered to bid in our auctions, you can register to bid by clicking HERE.

We have the First Wednesday Auction for March fully loaded and bidding is now underway. You can view the auction and enter bids beginning now and continuing until March 4, 2026. On the last day of the sale, two lots will close and be marked as sold each minute beginning at 7:01 P.M. on each ending day and continuing until all are sold. Bidding will be open on both auctions until bidding closes as the lots begin selling at 7:01 PM on each night of the sale. You can keep bidding until the item is marked as sold. In the event that there is an increase in the bid in the last two minutes before an items sells, it will be extended for two minutes, unless the high bid amount increases again, at which point it will extend for another two minutes.

Today's Featured Tool Description
Holley, Jas./W. Palm Beach, Fl : Patent Turret Head Brace. Pat. Nov. 24, 1903. Superb Condition. Length: 12.00 Inches. A extremely rare PATENT TURRET HEAD BRACE by James Holley, W. Palm Beach, Florida. The genius of this device is a series of retractable bits from which one can be selected for use and locked into place while the balance remains folded away above the chuck. This innovative tool was patented on November 24, 1903. Given the cumbersome nature of this brace, it must have proved impractical in day-to-day use. This is by far the best example of this brace that we have seen or offered for sale. Choice. (GOOD+). This item was sold on April 21, 2007 for $3,500.00. jpg_file

Just Added to the Auctions
jpg_file Lot 397. A RARE SIX-INCH LENGTH "SPECIAL" RULE by STANLEY. This six-inch length rule has brass tips on each end. One side is graduated 1/8ths and the other in 1 1/16ths of an inch. It is marked with the designation "Special" and the ca. 1910 Stanley block letter trademark. The only Stanley rule of this configuration of which we are aware. From the Collection of Kemp and Shirley Richardson, Quincy, California. (GOOD+).(400.00 - 800.00) Length: 6 Inches.
