G reetings from Avoca, New York where we our First Tuesday and First Wednesday Auctions for October will begin ending tonight at 7:01 PM Eastern Time.

Today's Photo Montage shows some of the many ancient anvils that will be sold on Wednesday, October 8th. The next two photos show the newest of our four packing areas with the shelves and tables empty and fully stocked with shipping supplies. The final photo shows our auction schedule through the end of 2026. We have great tools on hand and many more to come, so stay tuned for many more great auctions.

If you are not currently registered to bid in our auctions, you can register to bid by clicking HERE.

We have the First Tuesday and First Wednesday Auctions for October fully loaded and bidding is now underway. You can view the auction and enter bids beginning now and continuing until October 7 & October 8, 2025. On the last day of the sale, two lots will close and be marked as sold each minute beginning at 7:01 P.M. on each ending day and continuing until all are sold. Bidding will be open on both auctions until bidding closes as the lots begin selling at 7:01 PM on each night of the sale. You can keep bidding until the item is marked as sold. In the event that there is an increase in the bid in the last two minutes before an items sells, it will be extended for two minutes, unless the high bid amount increases again, at which point it will extend for another two minutes.

This showy axe, which features the Statue of Liberty on its paper label, retains its full complement of paint and paper label. We suspect that this was produced to coincide with an anniversary of the Statue of Liberty, but have no additional information. Extra nice. From the Dan Semel Collection. (FINE).
