The author, Peter Korn, is the Director of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, a provider of a hands-on workshop in the use of traditional woodworking tools. Chapters cover boring, sawing, scraping, marking and measuring, striking, planing and much, much more. Superb line drawings illustrate the various tools described and their uses. While not primarily intended for the advanced collector or cabinetmaker, there is no one who would not benefit from studying this excellent new book.
