AN EARLY INDIAN POTATO STAMPED BERRY BASKET having alternating yellow tinted splints and red tinted splints. The basket was ornamented with two separate stamps, traditionally made from a carved potato, yielding the name. The basket is complete with its original handle and in excellent condition, noting a very minor stain in one corner of the bottom of the basket.
