An example of PARKER'S PATENT CORN CUTTER as patented by James W. Parker of Palmyra, Wisconsin on September 8, 1874. The idea was to secure this device under the heel of the boot and strapped with the leather strap to the calf of the leg, where it would allow the weight of the user to be leveraged in turning corn stalks into silage. It is in excellent condition and it is clearly marked with the patent information. An interesting patented agricultural tool in excellent collector quality condition.
