Among the many books on technical subjects, few really helpful and practical books can be found on the subject of art metal and blacksmith work. The author of this book has endeavored to meet this need, and from his efforts come a richly illustrated, fully explained work on the science and art of plain and art metal forging. An effort has also been made to use non-confusing language, and to give simple and detailed drawings illustrating each important step that will make make learning easy for anyone. This excellent guide to a fine art was resurrected and reprinted by an interested shop student so that the next generation of ironworkers can perfect their art, and to equip anyone with the tools and skills needed to become a blacksmith.
