The Dyer's Companion, by Elijah Bemiss. 319 Pages. Softbound. In this complete reprinting of Bemiss's 1815 edition, the reader can find dye recipes for all shades and varieties for reds, blues, yellows, browns, and blacks for woolens, linens and cottons, for both hot and cold dye processes. The early sections give 119 recipes and nearly all the dyes a dyer could want the use.
