17. TWO UNUSED MOLDING PLANES, both by A.C. Bartlett & Company. Included are a No. 41 3/16" center bead and a 7/8" boxed bead. Both are in brand new condition. 25 - 50
18. A most interesting and unusual EARLY ROLLER JAW WRENCH. This cast iron body wrench has a lower jaw that rolls into place against the upper jaw when the spring is released. The appearance of this wrench indicates that it was made ca. 1880, or thereabout, making it the earliest of the "roller jaw" wrenches. 80 - 160

23. A WEDGE ARM UNHANDLED PLOW PLANE by John Moseley, 64-55 Broad, London, England. This plane has four brass tips and a uniform dark patina. 50 - 100
24. A LOT OF ASSORTED GOUGES AND CHISELS, all tang type. All are in clean and usable condition. 50 - 100
25. An example of PERKS' PATENT "SIMPLEX" SQUARE LEVEL by the Webster & Perks Tool Company, Springfield, Ohio. This level, which was patented on April 25, 1905 by Albert J. Perks of Springfield and assigned to the Webster & Perks Tool Company, comprised of Albert J. Perks and Herman Voges, Jr. The patent information and maker name are printed on paper beneath the level vial. The "Simplex" designation is cast into the bronze body of the level. The first example of this uncommon "two guys in a garage with an idea" tool that we have seen. For the sleuths among you, we ask: "Who was Webster?" 80 - 160
26. THREE ADJUSTABLE CARRIAGE WRENCHES including examples by Millers Falls, Joy Patent and an unusual cast iron type. The cast iron type has a wing nut locking mechanism. 40 - 80

43. A NESTED "PLUMBER'S" MULTI-BLADE SAW by Henry Disston & Sons, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This nearly complete example includes the original canvas pouch. It needs some cleaning, but is otherwise excellent. 35 - 75
44. A LOT OF EIGHT TIMBER FRAMING CHISELS including a 3/4" width corner type and 2 1/4", 1 1/2" and 7/8" width mortise chisels. All are in need of a light cleaning. 35 - 75

50. A LOT OF RAILROAD LOCKS AND KEYS including examples from the Illinois Central Railroad, the Chicago and Northeast Railway and the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad. Some are missing their keys. 35 - 75
51. TWO FULLY BRASS FACED SPIRIT LEVELS including one fashioned from rosewood and another of some unknown hardwood. 60 - 120
52. FOUR CLEAN D.R. BARTON TOOLS, all by D.R. Barton & Company, Rochester, New York. Included in this grouping are two pattern makers gouges, a wide cooper's shave and an extra clean right-hand cooper's chamfer knife. 80 - 160
53. A CLASSIC "ULTIMATUM" STYLE BRACE by Alfred Ridge, Sheffield, England. This ebony infill brace retains part of its original ivory ring. There is a repair to a crack in the head, but it is otherwise excellent. 100 - 200
54. A SET OF FIVE CLEAN MORTISE CHISELS, all having boxwood handles. Also included is a lock mortise type chisel. 80 - 160
55. An OAK INFILL CAST IRON PANEL PLANE having a full parallel cutting iron. This heavy duty plane could be put directly to use. 100 - 200
56. A SOLID BOXWOOD PLOW PLANE, complete with a set of eight plow plane cutting irons. There are some minor chips and checks, but this very nicely patinated is generally in excellent condition. 100 - 200
57. TWO VIOLIN MAKERS' BRONZE PLANES, both having "pusher" handles. Both flat and compass sole types are included in this grouping. 80 - 160

65. A WORKING SET OF SASH MOLDING PLANES including filletster and coping types, a pair of sash planes and some sash templates. All are in clean, sound and usable condition. 75 - 150

Included are a No. 40; a No. 78; a No. 220 and a Two-Tone smoothing plane in maroon and yellow, not to be confused with the yellow and maroon type. 67. A PATENT CATTLE LEADING DEVICE as patented by William G. Tyler, Joliet, Illinois on August 25, 1936. It is in clean and sound condition and properly oriented for those who prefer to take the bull by the nose, rather than by the horns. 30 - 60
68. A ROSEWOOD HANDLE TRY SQUARE, No. 2, by STANLEY. This, the least common 18" blade length size is marked with the designation "Pat. Pend." 75 - 150

106. A PATENTED MULTI-FUNCTION TRY SQUARE by Frank Houle, Chicago, Illinois, patented December 11, 1894. This uncommon patented square is in clean and sound condition. 40 - 80
107. A FOLDING RULE DISPLAY CASE. These were produced by the late Bill Baader for the display and transport of folding rules. One of the glass panels is cracked, but it is otherwise in excellent condition. 60 - 120
