1. A FULL BOX OF NINE UNUSED SAW HANDLES, No. D-7, by Henry Disston & Sons, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. These handles are designed to fit 26" blade length and larger saws. All of the original box label remains. 20 - 40
2. A HEAVY CAST IRON FLOOR SCRAPER by the Universal Floor Scraper Company, Worcester. Marked "Patented", the scraper appears to be in usable condition. We are not aware of any other examples of this patented scraper to come to light. Rare. 125 - 250
3. A COLLECTION OF SMALL LEVELS including examples by Stanley and others. Also included are a number of replacement level vials. 30 - 60
4. A 12" PLUMB & LEVEL, No. 104, by STANLEY. This solid cherry level is in brand new, unused condition. 20 - 40
5. A PACKAGE OF DOUBLE CUTTING IRONS by Isaac Greaves, Sheffield, England. All of these irons, which are intended for use with bench planes, are in unused condition. From the Robert Jones Collection. 30 - 60
6. THREE DIMINUTIVE SIZE PLUMB BOBS including one that appears to be quite early. All three are clean and sound. 35 - 75
7. A CAST BRONZE BLOCK PLANE cast from an early type Stanley plane and nicely accented with a turned maple front knob. From the Bill McDougall Collection. 20 - 40
8. A SOUVENIR FOUR FOOT YARDSTICK marked "Souvenir of Plains, Georgia -- Hugh Carter's Antique Store". Those who remember the glory days of the first Carter Administration will recall the low inflation, easy-money interest rates and full employment. Nor will they forget the enhanced stature of the United States in the world at that time as Soviet expansionism was set back by denying them Republican-grown wheat and refusing to engage in the triple jump. Most importantly, they will recall that State sponsored international terrorism was dealt a swift, crushing and final blow when United States ambassadors were held hostage. Unfortunately, anyone who remembers those times that way is off even more than a four foot yardstick. Just the thing to put on the shelf next to your Billy Beer. 2 - 4

24. An early CHILD'S CERAMIC DRINKING CUP illustrated with one of "Dr. Franklin's maxims". The subjects of the illustrations are all shown using hand tools. There is a crack in the body of the cup, but the scenes on the cup are not affected. 30 - 60
25. An EARLY CAST IRON MATCH SAFE having a figural casting of acorns with oak leaves. The hollow acorns serve as holders for matches and there is a ribbed surface between them for lighting the matches. An uncommon match safe in excellent collector quality condition. 60 - 120
26. A most unusual NINETEENTH CENTURY CAST IRON MATCH SAFE. The inscription "Turn off Burner When Not Using - Matches are Cheaper than Gas" is cast into the body. 80 - 160
27. A NINETEENTH CENTURY CAST IRON FLIP-TOP MATCH SAFE marked "Vestibule". The patent date of April 2, 1889 is cast in the back of the body. 75 - 150
28. A pair of fancy Victorian BRONZE METAL TRAMMELS, No. 3, by STANLEY. These were the largest of three sizes offered in this series. 50 - 100
29. A most interesting, early and unusual WALNUT AND BONE TRY SQUARE. A notch has been cut from the tip of the blade. Appearance is late Eighteenth Century. 30 - 60
30. A "WORLD WAR II TYPE" JACK PLANE, No. 5, by STANLEY. This plane has the distinctive bakelite adjusting screw used to conserve brass. It is in new condition in its original box. 50 - 100
31. A DIMINUTIVE BULLNOSE SMOOTHING PLANE by T. Turner, Sheffield, England that has brass facing on the sole. This classic working miniature is in nearly new condition. From the Bill McDougall Collection. 50 - 100

50. FOUR EARLY CAST IRON TRIVETS, all intended for holding irons. Some are quite fancy and all date from the Nineteenth Century. 60 - 120
51. An ORIGINAL "JENNY LIND" CAST IRON TRIVET. These souvenir items were produced when the "Swedish Nightingale" singer toured the country in the 1850's and 1860's under the management of Phineas Taylor Barnum. This example is in excellent collector quality condition. 75 - 150
52. A 26" BEECH JOINTER PLANE by Smith & Stewart, Springfield, Massachusetts. More than 95% of the original finish remains on this nearly new example from an obscure Springfield hardware dealing partnership who worked between 1873 and 1875 only. The imprint rates three stars for rarity in American Wooden Planes, Fourth Edition. 50 - 100
53. A rare ONE FOOT, FOUR- FOLD STEEL RULE by the Standard Tool Company, Athol, Massachusetts. This uncommon machinists bench rule is graduated in 8ths and 16ths of an inch and is in excellent collector quality condition. 35 - 75
54. A JAPANESE CARVED FIGURINE of bone or ivory that depicts a carpenter holding a chisel. 125 - 250

77. THREE GUN RELATED HAND TOOLS including a powder measure; gunsmith bore gauge; and a patent gun screwdriver. From the Bill McDougall Collection. 30 - 60
78. A SOLID CAST BRASS RABBET PLANE with hardwood infill. It appears to be very well made. 60 - 120
79. A most interesting and unusual ANTHROPOLOGICAL ARTIFACT. This was reportedly designed by nature to improve the reproductive capacity of the male walrus. Being insufficiently schooled in the physiology of the larger mammals to provide much additional detail, we leave the divination of the particulars to the prospective purchaser. 20 - 40
80. A CABINET MAKER'S RABBET PLANE, No. 94, by STANLEY. This example is clean and sound and 7/8" of the original iron remains. 125 - 250

93. TWO CARRIAGE MAKERS MOLDING PLANES including a rabbet fitted with a boxwood stop and a curved handled rabbet. 60 - 120
94. A PAIR OF MAHOGANY BODY "WINKING STICKS" FITTED WITH BOXWOOD INLAY. As was the custom for a retiring employee of a joiner's shop, these have been marked with the name stamp of each of the other employees as a parting remembrance. 101. An ONE-FOOT, FOUR-FOLD FOLDING RULE of IVORY and German Silver, No. 54 B, by E.A. Stearns & Company. The rule is inscribed on the edge with the name of the one-time owner, a J.L. Engle of Middleburgh, New York. From the Bill McDougall Collection. 125 - 250
102. A rare SOUTHWEST U.S. MOLDING PLANE bearing the imprint of L. Zeckendorf & Company, Tucson, Arizona. This 1/2" dado plane has an extra crisp imprint. Little is known of this maker or dealer. An example of the only known Arizona-marked wooden plane. 60 - 120
103. A SASH COPING MOLDING PLANE by D.P. Sanborn, Littleton, New Hampshire in clean and sound condition. The mark has been identified as the "B" mark according to American Wooden Planes, 4th Edition, who gives it 3 stars for rarity. 30 - 60

109. A LATER STYLE "BEDROCK" SMOOTHING PLANE, No. 604 C, by the Stanley Rule & Level Company. The cutting iron is imprinted with the "Sweetheart" trademark. 150 - 300
110. A pair of MULTIPLE HEAD RIVETING PLIERS made by the Wm. Schollhorn Company, New Haven, Connecticut. This most unusual variation on the "Bernard Patent" them features six sets of jaws. The tool is marked with the designation "Lake Erie Mfg. Co., New York". 75 - 150

118. A PANAMA CANAL COMMEMORATIVE SAW by the Delaware Saw Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Most of the original etching remains on the blade, where one can read "Panama Pacific" and "I Divide". Rather than return this saw to the people of Panama, we have determined to sell it to the highest bidder and keep the proceeds. 100 - 200
119. A FANCY BRASS ARCHIMEDIAN DRILL, designed for use by jewelers, in excellent condition. 35 - 75
120. A 10 point 26" SKEWBACK CROSSCUT SAW, No. D 100, by Henry Disston & Sons, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This saw, which features a carved beech handle, dates from ca. 1902-1923. Also included in this lot is a Disston No. D-8 8 point crosscut saw. 75 - 150
121. A WEDGE LOCK ARM PLOW PLANE by Archer, 46 Goodge Street, in excellent condition. A working set of cutting irons is included. 60 - 120
122. AN ADJUSTABLE DEPTH STAIR SAW that was very well made using walnut for the body. 60 - 120
123. FIVE EARLY PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND MOLDING PLANES. Four are marked Isaac Field, and the fifth one is just marked "Providence". 150 - 300
124. A HANDLED SCREW ARM PLOW PLANE by D.R., Barton & Company, Rochester, New York, fitted with boxwood arms and nuts. A tight crack to one of the nuts and some minor thread chips can be seen on this otherwise sound example. 120 - 240
125. An OCTAGON LOG CANE RULE, No. 48 1/2, by the Stanley Rule & Level Company. Unlike most examples of this rule, this one is imprinted with the Stanley name near the top of the cane. A rare Stanley rule in excellent condition. 250 - 500
126. A RARE ENGLISH MADE CLAW HAMMER by Cheney (England). It is fitted with a nail grip and its original black handle. 125 - 250
