	Lot 81. An early LEATHER WORKER BENCH vise by Leander Lackey, Sutton, Massachusetts. A lever activated cam lock mechanism is used to fix the jaws in place on this early manufactured tool, which is marked with the maker name and the date "1841". Lackey is listed in the Directory of American Toolmakers as producing carpenters tools ca. 1843. (GOOD+).(80.00 - 160.00) Length: 15.00 Inches.
