Lot 78. A PAIR OF EARLY MARKING GAUGES. These distinctive gauges are known to have been produced by Hermon Chapin at the Union Factory. They are easily recognizable by their circular brass wear plates on the face of the tools. These examples of boxwood and rosewood are not marked with the Chapin name, but unmistakable in form. Both are in top collector quality condition. (FINE).(90.00 - 180.00) Length: 9.00 Inches. |
