52. TWO CLEAN AND EARLY SPIRIT LEVELS, both by Lambert, Mulliken and Stackpole, Boston, Massachusetts. Examples of both rosewood and mahogany, both with eagle imprints, are included. 50 - 100
53. A BLOCK OF TURKISH BOXWOOD measuring 22 1/2" by 2 3/8" square. This grainless wood has a most appealing golden patina. 30 - 60
54. A BOXWOOD COMBINATION FOLDING RULE, No. 863 L, by the Lufkin Rule Company, England with level and protractor. This uncommon rule is in nearly new condition. 80 - 160

82. A PRECISION ADJUSTABLE HOLLOW AUGER by the A.A. Wood and Sons Company, Atlanta, Georgia. This example is in its original box with original instructions. The box has collapsed, but the tool is complete and in excellent working order. 60 - 120
83. A HOWARD'S PATENT BEVEL AND LEVEL by the Star Tool Company. This rosewood and brass bevel with integral level is identical to that shown in the Howard Patent of November 5, 1867. There are no marks on the tool. 80 - 160
84. A 24" CAST IRON FILIGREE LEVEL by the Davis Level and Tool Company, Springfield, Massachusetts. Only a minor corner chip detracts from this September 17, 1867 patent level, which retains some 95% of its original black japan finish. 100 - 200
85. A classic WOODEN "SPILL" PLANE having a skew set iron and slant fence. This plane is in excellent working order. 40 - 80
86. THREE ORIGINAL BOX PRECISION TOOLS including a Keuffel and Esser planimeter, a pair of Alvin drafting trammels and an unmarked pair of drafting trammels. 50 - 100

96. A QUICK ADJUST NUT WRENCH by the F.J. Biel Manufacturing Company, Terre Haute, Indiana. This spring catch wrench is marked with the designation "Pat. Appl'd. for". There is a small chip from the upper jaw, but it is otherwise excellent. 60 - 120
97. A "GOD SPEED THE PLOUGH" DOUBLE CUP by B. and L., England. This agricultural motif cup is in very well preserved condition. 50 - 100
98. A FULL SET OF EIGHT PLOW PLANE CUTTING IRONS, all by the Ohio Tool Company, Columbus, Ohio. Sets of plow irons by American makers have become increasingly difficult to find. 50 - 100
99. An ADJUSTABLE ROUNDING ENGINE by Mockridge and Francis, Newark, New Jersey. This applewood handle tool is the first we have seen bearing the mark of this New Jersey maker. 150 - 300
100. An example of PEREZ RICH'S PATENTED LINING RULE as produced by Clapp and Bailey, Boston, Massachusetts in accordance with the specifications of the Rich Patent of April 29, 1884. This rosewood and brass rule is in nearly new condition. 100 - 200
101. A LOT OF NUMBER LETTER AND STAMPS including a 1/4" letter set, a 3/8" number set, a 1/4" number set, etc. 25 - 50
